March 24 -- Teachings: Risking Challenge
Last week we found Jesus in the Temple performing a symbolic act that indicated that something new—the Kingdom of God—had arrived. This week we will look at several of Jesus’ Temple teachings and see how the wisdom of the Kingdom of God conflicts with the wisdom of the world, be it from the government, or even religious authority. Are we prepared to take the risk to follow the words and example of this radical teacher?

First Church is offering a time of learning and sharing around the topic of grief, facilitated by our Discipleship Pastor, Jason Armold. Sessions are held every Tuesday at 6:00 pm in the South Wing.
